Rosapenna Golf Club
Consisting of two impressive championship links Ireland golf courses (Old Tom Morris Links & Sandy Hill Links) Rosapenna Golf Club has been welcoming visiting golfers since the 19th century having originally been pin pointed as an ideal links golf location by Old Tom Morris of St Andrews.
After Old Tom 3 more golfing greats have added their stamp to the Rosapenna Old Tom Morris course, Open Championship winners Harry Vardon and James Braid and eminent Irish golf course architect Pat Ruddy.
Mr Ruddy went on to design the 2nd 18 hole links course at Rosapenna Golf Club called the Sandy Hills which was structured with championship Ireland golf courses in mind and since its opening in 2003 has been met with wide acclaim and has steadily made its way up the rankings of Ireland golf courses in the top golf publications worldwide.
