County Sligo Golf Club – Rosses Point

The County Sligo Golf Club also known as Rosses Point and known locally as “The Point” is considered one of Ireland’s greatest championship links courses.  Designed by the legendary Harry Colt County Sligo Golf Club has played host to most of Ireland’s major championships during its esteemed and extensive history.

Located in the charming seaside village of Rosses Point just 8 minutes from Sligo town, the County Sligo Golf Club is one of the most popular golf destinations in the country.   The wondrous views of Benbulben mountain, the expansive countryside and the Atlantic Ocean around this links course have been the inspiration for some of the great poetic works of William Butler Yeats.

Along with the championship links course County Sligo Golf Club is also home to the 9 hole Bomore course which offers an additional challenge to the intrepid golfer visiting Rosses Point.  Golfers can access the County Sligo Golf Club 18 hole championship links and/or the 9 hole Bomore course along with the driving range and full practice facilities.
