The Golf Course at Adare Manor

Under the new ownership of JP McManus 2016, The Golf Course at Adare Manor underwent a major reconstruction led by renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio. The result is an experience that even the toughest golf course critics have described as ‘unmatched’.

Announced as the home to the Ryder Cup 2026, the course offers a very special round of golf amid the breath-taking surroundings of the manicured parkland estate; set against the backdrop of the historic Manor House and the meandering River Maigue.

Reconstructed to the highest standards, all eighteen greens are supported by a Sub-Air system, nurtured greens boast Pure Distinction bent grass. The A4 bent grass used on the approaches is also seen on the greens of some of Europe’s most premier venues. The Golf Course at Adare Manor is an unforgettable experience designed to impress, challenge, and captivate the most demanding golfers in the world. As one visitor put it – the course is so well maintained you would think you are the first person to play it!

The Golf Course at Adare Manor is parkland perfection. It’s phenomenal. What JP has done here has brought it from good to beyond great. Unbelievable.

My group of 11 were playing 6 courses in Ireland.  This was the second course and the only parkland course, the other five were true Irish links courses so playing a parkland was a nice change of pace.  I was met by my caddie Sam and as we walked to the first tee he explained the course layout and what to expect. The course is beautifully manicured. I was impressed and overall, this was a really nice experience. If you are looking for a top notch parkland golf experience, this is a very good one to try.
