Lough Erne Golf Resort

Lough Erne Resort combines 5 Star accommodation and 2 championship golf courses (The Faldo Course and Castle Hume Course) and the resort is considered by golfing ace Rory McIlroy as “a second home”.

The Faldo Course at Lough Erne Resort is Sir Nick Faldo’s first design in Ireland and has been rated by Golf Week as one of the Best Modern Classic Golf Courses in Britain and Ireland. The grand opening in 2009 with the Lough Erne Resort Challenge saw both Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy playing in the competition to mark the occasion.

Links like fairways and a fabulous setting cradled in a 600 acre peninsula make the Faldo Course at Lough Erne Golf Resort a genuinely special inland golf course and it generally offers excellent playing conditions throughout the year.[/sixColumns][sixColumns][space height=”30″][sc_testimonial name=”Lynn McCool, Director of Golf” location=”Lough Erne Golf Resort” type=”speech”]The Faldo Course at Lough Erne Resort is one of the most memorable courses you’ll play. Ranked third in Northern Ireland alongside Royal County Down and Royal Portrush this course is a true test of golf, a magnificent design by six time major winner, Sir Nick Faldo.  The scenery is amazing but most importantly you’ll remember every hole you’ve played on completion of your round.[/sc_testimonial][/sixColumns]
